Caravana AgroEcológica
A participatory project, facilitated by the Centre for Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Change (cE3c), a research unit at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, which aims to bridge the gap between producers, consumers, and researchers through a series of initiatives based on agroecology.
Its objectives are:
- Monitor and study agroecological practices;
- Present and promote best agroecological practices;
- Facilitate participatory processes for public policies that support agroecology;
- Strengthen agroecology networks and communities in Portugal
A FCiências.ID – Associação para a Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Ciências
A private, non-profit association with public utility status. FCiências.ID aims to carry out, support, enhance, and promote research, development, and service activities for its members, particularly in the execution of R&D activities, project management, and the promotion of initiatives that create conditions for or facilitate the development of high-intensity scientific, technological, engineering, innovation, dissemination, knowledge transfer, and training activities, all in full legal, ethical, and moral compliance.
Turismo de Portugal
The National Tourism Authority, part of the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition, is responsible for promoting, enhancing, and ensuring the sustainability of tourism activities. It consolidates within a single entity all institutional responsibilities related to the development of tourism, from supply to demand. With a strong relationship with other public entities and economic stakeholders both domestically and internationally, Turismo de Portugal is committed to reinforcing tourism as one of the key drivers of growth for the Portuguese economy.
Escolas de Hotelaria e Turismo de Portugal
The national network of 12 schools managed by Turismo de Portugal. The Schools of Hospitality and Tourism provide training for the tourism workforce, preparing young people for their first job and supporting the professional development of sector employees, with a focus on improving the quality and prestige of tourism professions. They offer curricular programmes that provide solid technical preparation, along with the development of personal and socio-emotional skills (soft skills), as well as integrated management skills based on innovative learning models.
The Schools of Hospitality and Tourism are located in: Viana do Castelo, Porto, Lamego, Coimbra, Óbidos, Portalegre, Lisbon, Estoril, Setúbal, Portimão, Faro, and Vila Real de Santo António
